Driveways, backyards, walkways and steps — professionally designed and installed across the GTA. Proper base. Proper drainage. Built to last.
Interlocking pavers are one of the best investments you can make in your property — but only when they're installed correctly. The difference between a job that stays level for 20 years and one that shifts and sinks in two comes down to what's underneath.
At 416Marvel, every interlock job starts with the right base: proper excavation depth, compacted granular A, and screeded bedding sand — before a single paver goes down.
A driveway takes everything — vehicle weight, freeze-thaw cycles, de-icing salt, oil. We use 80mm pavers and a deep compacted base so it holds up season after season. From classic soldier-course borders to large-format modern slabs, we design driveways that look as good as they perform.

Your backyard should be an extension of your home. We design interlock patios that flow with your space — incorporating steps, retaining walls, raised garden beds, and accent lighting. Large-format slabs with dark charcoal borders are our signature look.

First impressions start at the curb. We build front walkways and entry steps that match your home's character — from chiseled-edge slab treads to precision-cut herringbone paths with contrasting soldier-course borders.

Every interlock job follows the same steps — no skipped base layers, no shortcuts on compaction.
We visit your property, take measurements, discuss patterns and materials, and give you a detailed quote — no obligation.
Existing surface removed, soil excavated to proper depth — 8–10" for driveways, 6–8" for patios and walkways.
Granular A gravel installed in lifts and compacted with a plate compactor. Properly graded for drainage away from the home.
Bedding sand screeded level. Pavers laid to pattern, cut to fit at edges, with plastic edge restraints pinned into the base.
Polymeric sand swept into joints and compacted — locks pavers in place, resists ants and weeds, hardens with moisture.
Most failures happen underground. We excavate to proper depth and compact in lifts — the labour that separates a 20-year job from a 3-year problem.
Residential driveways get 80mm (3.15") thick pavers — the commercial grade. 60mm pavers crack and shift under vehicle weight. We don't use them on driveways.
Every job gets polymeric sand, not regular kiln-dried. It hardens, locks the joints, and stops ants from tunneling under your pavers.
We grade the base away from your foundation before any pavers go down. Improper drainage is the number one cause of shifting and frost heave in Ontario.
