New deck builds, full restorations, and cedar fence installation — built to handle Canadian winters and look great doing it. Serving the GTA.
Whether you need a new deck built from the ground up, an existing one restored and stained, or a cedar fence that actually lasts — 416Marvel handles all of it. We use pressure-treated lumber, proper footings, and premium exterior stains rated for Ontario's freeze-thaw cycles.
Restoration jobs get pressure washed, sanded where needed, and finished with two coats of penetrating oil-based stain — not painted over and hoped for the best.
From ground-level platforms to elevated two-storey decks, we design and build to your space. Pressure-treated framing, proper footings, custom decking patterns, and your choice of railing — wood posts with black metal balusters is our most popular combination.

Most decks don't need replacing — they need proper prep and a real stain. We pressure wash, let the wood dry, and apply two coats of premium penetrating stain. The result looks brand new and stays protected for years. We also restore hot tub surrounds and platforms.
Cedar privacy fences that are built to stay straight and last. We set posts in concrete to proper depth, frame with quality lumber, and finish with tight vertical boards or custom gate designs. Pressure-treated options available for post-in-ground sections.

Whether we're building new or restoring existing — every job follows the same standard.
We visit your property, assess the existing structure or space, discuss materials, and give you a detailed quote on the spot.
Old decking or damaged boards removed. Restoration jobs get a full pressure wash and dry time before any product is applied.
New decks get PT framing, concrete footings, and properly spaced joists. Fence posts are set in concrete at proper depth for Ontario frost.
Decking boards installed to pattern. Railing system framed and balusters set — wood posts with black aluminum is our most-requested combo.
Two coats of premium penetrating exterior stain — not paint. Applied by brush and roller for deep wood penetration and even coverage.
Restoration jobs are pressure washed, dried, and inspected before we touch them with stain. Painting over a weathered deck without prep is a money-wasting shortcut we don't take.
One coat looks great for a season. Two coats penetrate deeper, last longer, and give you the rich even tone you see in our photos. It's standard on every job.
New deck footings are set below the frost line — 3 feet in the GTA. Shallow footings heave every winter. We build it once and we build it right.
Posts set in concrete, properly spaced, with quality cedar boards that won't cup and warp in two seasons. We build fences that still look good five years later.
